Biography of Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu was born in a Bengali family at New Delhi. Afterward her family reallocated to Kolkata where she won regional exquisiteness contest at a very youthful age. Bipasa Basu is the second of three sisters.Among the sisters of Bipasha Basu the name of her elder sister is Bidisha and her younger sister is Bijyota.

Modeling along with acting has come to Bipasa Basu by chance. She had intended to be a Chartered Accountant after her graduation but in the meantime she won Ford super model contest and entered the world of modeling. She was as well listed as sexiest woman of Asia alongside fellow stars Mallika Sherawat and Aishwarya Rai.

After captivating hearts of the people through modeling and advertisement, Bipasha did the celebrated video 'Tu Meri Mehbooba' for the album of Sonu Nigam, 'Kismat'. Bipasa made her debut in Bollywood with "Ajanbi". Subsequently she did a number of movies but her show in Raj opposite to Dino Morea was more cherished. After that was erotic thriller "Jism" with John Abrahm, in the film she played the role of a sexy wife of a mid aged entrepreneur.
