Mamata Banerjee- As Railway Minister During Second Tenure

In 2009, Mamata Banerjee turned out to be Railway Minister for the second time. She wished-for opening seven Nursing Colleges on Railway property. She as well introduced several new concepts of Trains like Duranta, Yuva in the Railway Budget. At the moment Duranta is the fastest train in India. To alleviate women passengers for the period of busy hours, Mamata introduced Ladies Special Train on July linking Bandel and Howrah. Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the Duronto Express, a non-stop train, fastest train of India amid Sealdah and New Delhi on September 18th 2009. Anantnag Qadigund Railway line was launched in October.
